When you’re buying or selling a home in Dorchester, you deserve to work with an agent you can trust – one who puts your needs first because he’s been where you are.
That’s where John Kahl comes in.
John is known for his approachability. People come to him to solve all kinds of issues, both in his current roles as a real estate professional and teacher, and in his former roles as a marketing and project management specialist in the automotive industry and president of the teachers’ union.
But it’s about more than that. Thanks to John’s extensive marketing experience, exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, his clients know that they’re getting the best possible representation – and that’s true whether they’re buying or selling a home. He uses his marketing experience, his finely honed negotiation skills and tenacious work ethic to help his clients every step of the way.
John’s primary mission in real estate is to find out how he can help and then spring into action. Using innovative marketing tools, he’s able to put his clients’ homes in front of all the right buyers so they sell quickly (and at the right price). He’s also heavily involved in the community aspect of real estate and keeps tabs on the ins and outs of each neighborhood in the area; that way, he’s able to help each of his clients find the perfect home.
One thing people always say about John is that he listens. He takes the time to figure out what’s most important to the people he’s working with. He then develops solutions that lead to the best possible outcome. It’s what he did while working with Ford Motor Company to develop a creative and tremendously successful dealership training program, while working on the Ford Racing website, and serving as president of the teachers’ union – and it’s what he’ll do while working with you, too.
When he’s not in school teaching the country’s future leaders, you might find him fishing or on the beach with his lovely wife Lisa, who’s also a teacher, cheering on his boys while they play soccer and lacrosse, or romping around the playground with his toddler. Although he grew up in Michigan, John considers himself a true Marylander. He came to Maryland in 2007 and only expected to stay a couple of years, but he felt right at home on the Eastern Shore – and he’s been here ever since.
